To be a community driven food action plan, GPFAP will need input from the community about the food needs and concerns of residents from cities and towns throughout Allegheny County. To achieve this, a series of geographically and thematically diverse engagement sessions will be held, in the late spring and early summer of 2019. The sessions will serve as opportunities for the GPFAP team to share findings from data that has been collected, and for residents to provide their input for the GPFAP. Attending an engagement session will be the best way to learn about the progress and status of GPFAP, and to be involved in the process of creating the plan. Specific plans for the engagement sessions are still in the work, but check back here soon for update! Information about when, where, and how to participate in the engagement sessions will be posted as soon as it is available.
